MARS RACING FOURTH AT FARLEY
& WEST LIBERTY

(MENOMONIE, WISCONSIN) The Mars Racing team invaded the Hawkeye
State of Iowa last weekend (May 1-2) for a pair of $10,000
to win unsanctioned events. At the Farley Speedway in Farley,
Iowa on Friday evening, Jimmy Mars won his B-Main to gain
access into the 50-lap 'Banner Valley Hauling 50.' After starting
twentieth on the grid, Jimmy was able to work his #28 M-B
Customs / Pro Power entry past sixteen cars en route to a
remarkable fourth place effort behind only winner Terry Phillips,
Matt Miller, and Dennis Erb.
On Saturday night, the dirt-slinging action switched to the
West Liberty Raceway in West Liberty, Iowa. Following a heat
race triumph, Jimmy sported a great racecar during the $10,000
to win, 50-lap main event. The Menomonie, Wisconsin native
wound up with another fourth place finish, as he crossed underneath
the checkers behind winner Brian Birkhofer, Billy Moyer, and

The #28 team will now turn their attention to the $30,000
to win 'SuperClean Diamond Nationals' at the pristine Lucas
Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri this upcoming weekend.
The two-day extravaganza will take place on Friday-Saturday,
May 8-9 and will be co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series and the O'Reilly MLRA Series. The cameras of SPEED
Channel will be on hand to tape the event for a 2-hour broadcast
on a date and time to be announced in the future. You can
